Private Photography Workshops

Learning how to drive your camera is the first step. Whether you have a Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic or Olympus digital SLR, the key to great photos is learning the functions of your camera.

If you’ve had your camera for awhile or have recently purchased a new camera we can help you learn and understand all the controls, buttons and functions, our introductory lessons will help you understand your camera and capture great photos.

One of the quickest and most effective ways to learn photography is with one-on-one individual lessons, 3-hour workshops or small group classes.

If you want to capture great photos a lesson or workshop from a professional photographer will get you on your way.

Private Workshops Overview & Hourly Rate

For some folks the best learning experience is one-on-one, private photography workshops are perfect if this is you!  Lessons are arranged around your schedule, and can be during the evenings or on weekends.

Our private workshops can be customized to meet your needs. From Beginner, to Intermediate, to Advanced we’ll tailor these workshops specifically for you.

If you are a Beginning Photographer, by the end of the workshop you will be comfortable using your camera, you’ll understand its controls, and will have photography techniques you can use right away to start capturing great images.

Private workshops can also include a photo walk and review of your photos to immediately reinforce what you’ve just learned.

We'll meet a local park, restaurant or coffee shop in Bishop and begin our workshop. Light snacks, water, and sodas are included.

The rate for private workshops is $75 an hour.

Please contact us at rick@ricksaezphotography.com or 760-473-6302 to schedule time to take your photography to the next level!

Payment can be made via PayPay in advance of the lesson or at the session by check or cash.

We operate in cooperation with the Inyo National ForestBureau of Land Management and the Bardini Foundation.
